Cafe Rouge first - they have a microphone there with a sign that reads - "only for use in an emergency"

I have visions of a crowd of Japanese tourists bursting in screaming "We must have karaoke now!"

Erm yes, followed on by a trip to the flicks - the Weather Man - it was quite good

Finished off with a visit to Manchester's Hard Rock Cafe - bit of of a wait for the table. Noticed that a few items memorabelia had disappeared off the walls - don't quite know what that says about Manchester people or visitors or businesses!

Mid-Air Snow

Bit of an experriment today - with more snow it seemed like an opportunity to capture a snow flake in mid-air. This proved more difficult that in sounds - snow falls pretty quickly - and hardly ever where you want it to be!
So lots of out of focus photos later, these are the best of a bad bunch - much room for improvement methinks. If it was a school report it would definitely read "Could Try Harder"

At Risk Patients

On a recent visit to hospital I noticed a sign on one of the bed matresses. OK I know you're not supposed to have phones on in there but I had to catch a snap of this - sorry for the focus, it reads "RECOMMENDED FOR USE BY "AT RISK" PATIENTS.

I just have vision of ill people surrounded by doctors in impending risky situations saying - "I'd recommend that matress there, yes the blue one.... aaaaarrrrrgggghhh!"
