Travelblog - Dovestones Again
Went for another walk roud Dovestones today - it is a pleasant stroll, if a little exposed making the breezy quite chilly in the Winter months.
One lap of the lower path around the reservoir takes about an hour and a half to two hours.
It's nice to get some fresh air and blow away those cobwebs

Dovestones is a place I always visit when I go to England in summer. The hills that surround the reservoir evoke so many pleasant memories - mostly of me and my mate, Tim Shaw, setting off to walk over Laddow and Black Hill.
Now though, I don't really have the footwear and certainly not the energy to get up to the tops of those fine hills, but I still like to look at them, smell the clear air and hear the sounds and loo up at the hills that haven't changed at all.
